As a suggestion for moving forwards with this framework, one of the problems that I had initially with writing an Acord compliant service was the code lists, and i am sure others may have struggled (hope it was not just me...)

The way I resolved this was to use a "RESTful" service for retrieving code list values. The CodeList type has a field called WebsiteURL. So on retrieving a policy with fields refering to a code list (i.e. CurrCd) the CodeList type was returned within the response with the URL to the REST service from where to obtain the list. This obviously requires some client side caching, but I found this works very nicely especially binding WPF to XML.

Maybe we could work some codelist services into the framework?

Good point.  And I believe I have a good solution for this, but haven't had a chance to add it yet.  I will shortly.  This involves a codes service that will be added to the technical architecture assembly (it uses Enterprise Library caching to perform server or client codes caching).  We'll get that in there soon.  Thanks.
